New Renderings for Boerum Hill's Planned 128-Unit Condo

New, 9 comments

The Boerum—a planned luxury condo at 265 State Street—are slated to launch in the next few weeks, and here now is the first full rendering of the 20-story, 128-unit building, designed by Flank and developed by Flank and Carlyle Group. The 210-foot tower will be located right on the border of Boerum Hill and a hotel will rise from floors one to six, with the residential portion beginning on the seventh floor.

The Boerum will have one- to five-bedroom units ranging in price from $825,000 to $4.25 million. Taking its design cues from brownstone Brooklyn, each apartment is designed to incorporate a "'prewar-like division of space' that would impart the homey feel many residents of the neighborhood might look for," meaning the rooms are flexible and just about every unit has a foyer. There will also be some crazy amenities on the 15th floor, including "a lounge, library and bar, a playroom designed in part by the Children's Museum of the Arts, and several outdoor terraces,"

Sales will soon launch at nearby 314 Atlantic Avenue, a space that's been occupied for the past few months by a home furnishings pop-up store owned by the developers.
