MIDTOWN EASTAlthough it was pretty much a given, One Vanderbilt developer SL Green confirmed today that TD Bank will anchor the 1,514-foot-tall building that is set to rise adjacent to Grand Central Terminal. TD Bank has signed a long-term lease for 200,000-square-feet, including a retail space at the northeast corner of 42nd Street and Madison Avenue. TD Bank will move into the space in 2020. Does this mean, perhaps, that One Vanderbilt will become better known as the TD Bank Tower? [CurbedWire inbox; WSJ; previously]
