At a public hearing about FreshDirect moving its headquarters to the Bronx, the company shipped in dozens of employees wearing green tee-shirts emblazoned with the slogan "FreshDirect loves The BRX." "The BRX" is an abbreviation for the Bronx that is used by no one, ever. Not that it really hurt their cause—from Welcome2TheBronx's writeup it sounds like FreshDirect left the hearing with as much local support as they'd gone in with (which is to say, not much).
