The Glendale Middle Village Coalition is suing the city for their 'slipshod' environmental evaluation ahead of the city's desire to convert a former factory in Glendale into a homeless shelter for 125 families. The lawsuit alleges that about 99-percent of the 77 acres of open space the city included in their assessment of the site are private graveyards. "Private graveyards are not parks," the filing lawyer points out. [NYP]
