The controversial Bushwick rental Colony 1209 began leasing a few months ago, and now the whole building is up for sale again. The five-story, 119,681-square-foot building (whose weird, ill-advised name calls to mind mustachioed white men drinking gin and tonics on a veranda, while being attended by oppressed brown people) is asking $81.5 million, after last trading in April for $58 million. There's a list of nice amenities (gym, billiard room, 24-hour doorman, and more) and the building is currently in the third year of its 15-year 421-a tax abatement. [NYO; previously]
