"This will not fly," said a judge to the operator of Prospect Park Residence, whose landlord Haysha Deitsch tried to evict its elderly tenants post haste because he had already sold the building for a possible conversion. But Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Wayne Saitta just ruled in favor of eight tenants fighting to stay, saying that the home's operators can't just send the seniors off to new facilities and issuing an injunction that prevents Deitsch and co. from trying to evict them via housing court.
