175-Square-Foot West Village Studio Asks $349,000

New, 14 comments

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

A price of $1,994 per square foot would normally result in a pretty hefty ask, but no so when the apartment in question is an unfathomably tiny 175-square-foot (!) studio, in which case it comes out to $349,000. The West Village apartment (the brokerbabble makes sure to emphasize the location, repeatedly) has exactly enough room for one bed, one desk, a mini-kitchen, a bathroom, and that's it. If you're looking for amenities such as "floorspace," look elsewhere. On the bright side, one of the walls is coated with mirrors so that instead of feeling cramped you can feel like you're going insane.

Really makes this 425-square-foot studio look like a palace, now doesn't it?
