A not-entirely-schocking Daily News analysis has discovered that the Department of Parks and Recreation do things really, really slowly. NYDN reports that of 500 ongoing park construction projects, 80 have been in the works since 2008 with 13 dating as far back as 2006. The department's new Capital Projects Tracker should help to "shame the city into completing projects." Oh great, that's what it's come to. [NYDN]
