The Essex Street Market building at 115 Delancey Street is not long for this world. It appears the arrival of the wrecking ball is imminent at the SPURA site that will give rise to a 26-story residential tower with 195 apartments and a 14-screen movie theater. Demolition permits were filed for the site nearly six months ago, with building permits still awaiting the okay from the DoB. The site is being developed by Delancey Associates, a consortium of L+M Development, BFC and Taconic Investment Partners, Bowery Boogie reports. [BB; previously]
