Kips Bay Condop with Purple Wavy Ceilings Wants $1 Million

This two-bedroom condop in the The Foundry, a building on the Kips Bay/Gramercy border, features, according to the listing, "12-foot barrel vaulted ceilings [that] provide both architectural character and a spacious loft-like feel." That's a pretty dignified way of saying "wavy purple ceilings," though as the Times points out, it's possible that the "ceilings may not suit some buyers," so maybe it's best to downplay them, as much as that's possible in a listing that includes photos. The apartment is "priced to sell" at $999,999 after last going for $740,000 in 2011.
