Carmelo Anthony Checks Out $48M Sky Lofts Penthouse

New, 5 comments

According to a report from the Post, perennial house hunter/New York Knick Carmelo Anthony recently toured Downtown's most expensive apartment, the 7,500-square-foot (plus 4,500-square-foot wraparound terrace) glass box atop Tribeca's Sky Lofts. To be clear, it does not seem particularly likely that Carmelo, who has been seen checking out a great number of expensive penthouses over the years, but has yet to buy one, will actually purchase this apartment. This is basically just a good excuse to take another look at one of Manhattan's most ridiculously lavish homes, which includes unobstructed 360-degree views and luxury features too numerous to list. Then again, having just resigned with the Knicks for more than $122 million over five years, there's nothing really stopping him—who knows, maybe Melo has finally found the penthouse of his dreams. Or maybe he just enjoys being shown around fancy apartments.
