Every December for the last decade, Curbed readers have bestowed upon one New York City neighborhood the ultimate award: the Curbed Cup. The annual competition is now in its 11th year, and the stakes have never been higher (i.e. people have never taken this so seriously). The last two years, local groups launched full-on campaigns to propel their 'hoods to become the New York City neighborhood of the year. Will yet another underdog take the Curbed Cup this year? Before voting can begin, we need to know the neighborhoods that are worthy of such a prestigious honor. So while the
fake pure gold trophy is being forged, we're looking for contenders.
A full 16 neighborhoods will face off in this year's Curbed Cub tournament, but which 16 should they be? Drop your nominations in the comments of this post or e-mail them over to us.
