The new 20-story condo building that will bring the scope of Downtown Brooklyn buildings to the Boerum Hill border has launched sales, TRD reports. Known dully as The Boerum, the 128-apartment building designed by Flank and developed by Flank and Carlyle Group is offering one-bedroom through four-bedroom apartments priced between $800,000 and $4.25 million. The project is a first in Brooklyn for Flank, the developer behind high-end projects like the West Village's The Abingdon and the "unapologetically pricey" 224 Mulberry Street. The building will also house a boutique hotel on its first six stories. The development previously got flack (from us) for having over-the-top amenities like art classes for kids staffed by the Children's Museum of the Arts.
