Two Lovely Harlem Homes Broke the $3 Million Mark This Year

Earlier this month, the sale of 50 Hamilton Terrace in Hamilton Heights hit public records. The 1896 townhouse had listed in April for $2.895 million and entered contract 12 days later, closing in October for $3.2 million. (No interior photos, unfortunately.) This represents a new high for the Harlem enclave, breaking the $3.1 million record set earlier this year by 461 West 143rd Street (pictured above), which also went into contract within a month of hitting the market and sold for the full ask. Tamara Marotta, the Elliman agent who brokered both sales, was also responsible for the previous neighborhood record, a townhouse on West 142nd Street that went for $2.625 million last year. So, needless to say, it's a good time to be a Hamilton Heights townhouse owner (or to be Marotta, for that matter).
