A strip of single-story stores in Midtown will likely be razed to make way for a new residential tower. YIMBY reports that FXFOWLE has filed permits for a 24-story building to rise on the corner of 30th Street and Sixth Avenue. Alchemy Properties, also behind the Woolworth Building conversion, is developing the 52-apartment building. If approved, the new building will also have over 3,000-square-feet of ground-floor retail. Demolition permits have yet to be filed for the site.
