Brooklyn's Housing Court has been looking for a new home for more than two years, and though it may have finally found one, it won't be able to move for another five years. The court's current location at 141 Livingston Street is chaotic, confusing, out of date, and way too small (people have to line up on the street), but it may move a few blocks away to the Brooklyn Municipal Building at 210 Joralemon Street. This just require moving four or five city agencies and a $100M+ renovation. Uh, that should be easy, right? [NYT; previously]
