Preserve Park Slope, the neighborhood group that's fighting the approved expansion of New York Methodist Hospital, won a small victory. The group filed a lawsuit in July, and they convinced the Board of Standards & Appeals to hold a hearing to review the zoning variances they approved in June. Apparently this is a very unusual move, but Park Slopers fight long and hard when they don't want something. [NYDN; previously]
