Cornerspotted: Looking North on Broadway at East 21st Street

The landscape of Broadway has certainly changed in the past 12 decades, but not enough to fool any of this week's guessers. Commenter keeting35 was spot on with their guess that this week's cornerspotter depicts a northern view of Broadway at 21st Street at the end of the 19th century. Although the most telling landmark from that view today, the Empire State Building, was still unbuilt in 1898, a few landmarks stick out, like the Hotel Bartholdi.
