The Crown Heights/Prospect Heights border, an area with lots of impending small-scale residential development (much of it from Boaz Gilad), is getting 16 more new apartments, NY YIMBY was the first to report. Two adjacent buildings and 767 and 767A Bergen Street are being developed by Bob Hinez (per public records), who bought the property through an LLC last year for just over $1.3 million. The project is being designed by InFocus Design & Planning in the multi-color, segmented style that has characterized much of the new development in this part of Brooklyn. Do to the average size of under 700 square feet per unit, the apartments are probably going to be rentals.
