New Park Slope Rental Building Will Dwarf Its Neighbors

New, 19 comments

Adam America Real Estate Group, Slate Property Group and Naveh Shuster Limited jointly acquired a nine-building development site at 470 4th Avenue for $20 million and, last week, announced plans to demolish all of the current properties there within the next two months and begin work on a 107,000-square-foot building with retail on the ground floor and rentals above. On Friday, they released a rendering of that building. Although the developers said that it would be between 12 and 14 stories, the rendering shows a 14-story building with a red brick base shifting into a mostly glass top. The rendering also shows just how much the new building will tower over its low-rise neighbors, which is a lot.
