A Peek At The Williamsburg Whole Foods; NYFW Street Style

New, 5 comments

And now, the latest from Racked NY, shopping and retail from the sidewalks up...

1) Williamsburg: Remember that Whole Foods that's been coming to Williamsburg for...forever? Well, it has a new batch of renderings (via Brownstoner)! Formerly a glass box design, it looks like the store has decided to go a little more brick-and-mortar. The North 4th Street and Bedford Avenue location won't be open any sooner than end-of-year.

2) Everywhere: It's fashion week, which means, despite the cold, the streets are crawling with the (next) season's hottest fashions. From inappropriate shoes, to bare legs, to capes, to Bane-reminiscent hat/face masks, this gallery takes a look at just a little bit of the street style that New York fashion week is coaxing out.

3) Everywhere: This NYFW, BdB has reaffirmed his commitment to the fashion industry as a creator of opportunity, a source of innovation, and an outlet for hard work. Earlier, de Blasio appointed Alicia Glen, his deputy mayor for housing and economic development, as his liaison to the fashion industry.

4) Everywhere: Racked has put together a list of the largest openings to hit the city in 2014. From Rachel Comey to J.Crew, this list has the scoop.
