Now This Penthouse Is Queens' Most Expensive Apartment

New, 10 comments

It was only one month ago that a $2.5 million penthouse in Long Island City's The View emerged as the most expensive apartment in Queens. Now another Long Island City penthouse, this one in Vere 26 at 26-26 Jackson Avenue, has risen up to take the throne, with an asking price of $3 million. (Take it easy, Long Island City penthouses.) Despite the half a million higher ask, this penthouse is much bigger and actually costs less per square foot than the other one ($1,238/square foot vs. $1,418/square foot). It also includes an extremely large terrace, high ceilings, and, of course, many floor-to-ceiling windows. The other penthouse remains on the market with the same price.
