The unfinished monstrosity at 1882 East 12th Streetwhere a self-certified architect shadily erected what can only be described as a giant bird housein the Homecrest neighborhood of Brooklyn has plagued the neighbors for seven years, but they might finally get a reprieve. The city ordered the project to be reviewed by a structural engineer or else the building permits will be revoked. The DOB will meet with architect Shlomo Wygoda on Feb. 24 to decide the future of the project. [BK Daily; previously]
