Pride and Joy BBQ—the new tenant at 24 First Avenue—is suing the owner over a laundry list of Department of Buildings violations left behind by former tenant Lucky Cheng's. The drag cabaret and beloved East Village hangout shuttered two years ago, but according to DNAinfo, landlord Hayne Suthon failed to maintain the property and allowed structural damage to set in, including a terrifying-sounding termite infestation and a leaking roof and walls.
