The combination corn husk and mushroom root bricks that will comprise this year's tubular winning entry for the MoMA PS1 Young Architects Program will be composted following the structures tenure at the modern art museum. The bricks will meet their fate with local non-profit Build It Green who will turn them into fertilizer. With his design, David Benjamin of The Living hopes to inspire other architects to think about the possibilities of biomaterials. [MM; previously]
