A portfolio of Meatpacking District properties is going up for sale, and may fetch well over $100 million. The collection of buildings and storefronts include 220 feet of retail frontage at 14th Street and Ninth Avenue, a mix of retail and residential buildings across from the Apple Store, and the Gansevoort Mews apartment complex. The collection of prime real estate is being sold not for development, despite the buildings' 25,000-square-feet of unused development rights, but as an investment opportunity "for somebody who believes rent will only rise."
