The Times has a great profile of Richard Tenguerian—the go-to man for all of your model-making needs. In his Lafayette Street studio, the Syrian-born Tenguerian builds models for architects and developers who need their blueprints translated into a physical form, sometimes charging upward of $100,000 per project. He was also commissioned by 60 Minutes to build a model of the Abbottabad compound that housed Osama Bin Laden, following the 2011 SEAL raid. [NYT]
