Comedian Kristen Wiig Wants $2.6M For Un-Funny Soho Loft

New, 31 comments

Side-splitting comedian Kristen Wiig is offloading her two-bedroom Soho loft. She picked up the high-ceilinged corner unit at 476 Broadway between Grand and Broome back in 2009 for $1.5 million, and she just put it back on the market for $2,595,000. The brokerbabble touts 11.5-foot-high ceilings and six windows in the living space, unobstructed views, lots of closets, and a bathroom with both a rain shower and a cast-iron tub. It's all empty and unstaged and white-walled, which is a bit of a bummer. The apartment definitely had more character (and carrots) before it listed.... and, come on, brokers, leaving one hilarious work of art would have livened things up a little, right? On the upside, #10M has still more celeb-studded provenance: Wiig originally bought it from from Mad Men and Sopranos director Alan Taylor. Another perk? Maintenance is a relatively low $838/month. It is a co-op, though, and getting approval from the board probably definitely won't be funny.
