Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.
This loft in Bed-Stuy's delightfully named The Chocolate Factory (it used to be used for candy manufacturing) at 689 Myrtle Avenue was listed five days ago for $750,000 and is already in contract. Either this place is really desirable and charming, or it was awarded by its eccentric and reclusive owner to an impoverished child who had received a golden ticket to tour the 1,350-square-foot apartment. Or both. The high-ceilinged loft has many different colored walls (just like the real Chocolate Factory) and exposed ducts (probably filled with fudge). It's pretty great.
