Horse drawn carriage rides in New York City may be a thing of the past if mayor Bill de Blasio gets his way, which is very upsetting for people who make money off of horse drawn carriages, certain tourists, and, to a weird degree, actor Liam Neeson. Neeson was on the Daily Show last night promoting his new movie and spent half the interview arguing with Jon Stewart over the carriage ban. "The horse carriage industry, they made the roads of New York," Neeson said, prompting Stewart to respond, "What, are the roads made out of horse shit?" It's not the first time that Neeson has done this, either. [Gawker; previously]
