Big (and not necessarily welcome) things are in the future for a building at 108 Chambers Street that currently houses a liquor store. The single-story structure was purchased in October for $6.1 million and the site appears to be ripe for development. Not only that, but the listing included talk of combining it with contiguous properties, meaning that the block could be losing not only a liquor store, but a bar as well. Hopefully, whatever goes up in their place doesn't cause Tribecans to need a drink. [Tribeca Citizen]
