Today brings yet another mini-development in the never-ending saga that is figuring out what the heck to do with the cash-poor Long Island College Hospital. Perennial mayoral candidate and Gristedes owner John Catsimatidis is joining the fray, teaming up with developer Rudy Washington and one of the existing medical providers to flesh out a bid for the site that includes "a smaller, but full-service hospital side-by-side with ambulatory medical services and commercial, retail and residential facilities."
