R&B Artist Babyface's Former Turtle Bay Townhouse Listed

New, 8 comments

An East 52nd Street townhouse that once belonged to R&B singer/composer/producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds has hit the market for $5.25 million. Babyface, who has won 11 Grammys and written such number one hits as Madonna's "Take a Bow" and Whitney Houston's "I'm Your Baby Tonight," bought the house in 1998, at the peak of his career, for $1.75 million, according to public records. He lived there for six years and sold it in 2004 for $2.95 million. The house features a wine cellar/sound studio in the basement, and is, of course, fully wired for music.
