The Landmarks Conservancy has sued RFR Holding Corp. to stop the landlord from removing a nearly 100-year-old Picasso tapestry from the iconic Four Seasons Restaurant in the Seagram Building. RFR claims that the wall where the artwork, called "Le Tricorne," hangs has structural problems, but the Conservancy's lawsuit argues that RFR's CEO Aby Rosen simply wants to remove it because he hates it: "Mr. Rosen has previously referred to the Picasso curtain as a schmatte, the Yiddish word for rag."
