Real Estate Records

A father and son real estate duo has listed their parking garage at 111 Washington Street, and are looking for $260 million. The ask is five times what they paid for the site just three years ago. In the few years the Ohebshalom's held onto it, the duo also acquired air rights from several surrounding properties that will allow 362,000 square feet of residential or mixed-use space to be built just south of the World Trade Center site. If the property goes for the ask, the $700-per-square-foot sale would break Lower Manhattan records, ousting by 17-percent the previous record set just eight months ago at Tribeca's 101 Murray.
