Now that ground has been broken on incarnation No. 2 of the Thunderbolt roller coaster on Coney Island, amusement company Zamperla has announced that it wants to build an all-new water park on the site of the old Thunderbolt. Zamperla already operates Luna Park, the Parachute Jump, and the refurbished B&B Carousell. The water park would be located on five parcels of land that stretch from Surf Avenue to the boardwalk. Meanwhile, Amusing the Zillion has a fun video of what the new coaster will look like when it's complete.
