Quirky Little East 92nd Street Co-op Wants Only $475,000

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

This cute little duplex in 170 East 92nd Street may at first glance appear to be twice as large as it is, due to the entirely mirrored wall on the living room that's broken up only by a working brick fireplace. But, although it may well be the oddest, that's not the apartment's only odd feature—there's also the below-ground bedroom and additional lofted space (ominously not pictured), accessible via tiny ladder. All of the units quirks add up to a pretty low asking price of $475,000, which isn't too bad considering that there's an en suite half-bath off the bedroom in addition to the full bath on the main level. The maintenance, however, is definitely on the pricey side at $1,432.
