A first look at new renderings for the 16-story, 14-unit condo tower rising on East 78th Street has given way to more, much more: the launch of 151 East 78th Street's full website. It's extensive, with many renderings, design sketches, and explanations of why Spruce Capital is building a new-construction building that looks like a prewar. Images of the kitchen and bathroom are interactive, allowing interested parties to click on over different features for more information. Plus a whole lotta floorplan porn. On the site, architect Peter Pennoyer explains the layouts (entertaining rooms face south) as well as the unusual facade (symmetrical at the bottom with a "relaxed and romantic" topper). As for the pricing, floor-through units start at $10M, while the penthouses will start in the upper $20Ms. There's also a maisonette; check out that rendering below. All apartments will range from 3,000 to 7,000 square feet in size. Amenities include a doorman, landscaped garden, resident library, fitness studio, private storage, bike room, and a live-in resident manager. Sales are about to start, and closings are slated to begin in December of 2015.
