Six out of seven planned stories of the mixed-use development have risen, and the building will eventually feature 210 units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms. Half of those apartments will be priced affordably for low- and middle-income families under the housing plan launched by Mayor Bloomberg in 2004. According to Brownstoner, there will also be "recreation space, offices and retail on the ground floor, an exercise room, and laundry rooms on every floor."
The project was designed by Navid Maqami of Perkins Eastman. It is certainly box-like.
