Rendering Revealed For L+M Development's 149 Kent Avenue

New, 4 comments

BuzzBuzz Home has spotted some construction fence renderings of the residential building coming to 149 Kent Avenue, where a Western Carpet warehouse was recently demolished. The project is being developed by L+M Development Partners, the same people behind the SPURA redevelopment plan, Northside Piers, the Adeline, and others. The architect of record is Leonard Fusco of GF55 Architects (Jupiter 21, +Art) and the building will be seven stories tall with 164 units and ground-floor retail, according to Department of Buildings permits. The signage at the site predicts that the project will be completed in Spring of 2016.

Interestingly, the renderings posted at the site differ slightly from the one that accompanies a retail listing, which shows the building with larger windows more reminiscent of a warehouse conversion. So, while we don't know exactly what this building is going to look like yet, we've got a pretty good idea.
