A 73-year-old diabetic who also has heart disease and Parkinson's had to sue his co-op board at 200 Central Park South to be allowed to install a high-powered air conditioning unit, because co-op boards are the best. "It's a slippery slope," said the board's lawyer. "It starts a process where if the building can't say no to Kaplan, then why can't the next person have [an A/C] and the next and the next?" Sounds like true anarchy. [NYP; previously]
