THE MARKET—According to CityRealty's weekly market report for February 24 through March 2: The week's top sale was the $43 million penthouse at One Madison. The week's most expensive new listing was the triplex Cassa penthouse, back on the market following a three-penthouse combination, asking $50 million. Over the past 90 days, 33-percent of sales occurred downtown, 26-percent on the Upper East Side, 18-percent on the Upper West Side, 13-percent in Midtown, and 10-percent in FiDi/Battery Park City. UNION SQUARE—853 Broadway, a 21-story office tower at the southeast corner of Union Square, is getting a thorough interior and exterior makeover. The investment, development and management firm The Feil Organization have selected Moed de Armas & Shannon architects for the installation of a new storefront and curtain wall from the ground to the fourth floor.
