First Looks, Floorplan Unveiled For Baccarat's $60M Penthouse

New, 17 comments

The penthouse of Starwood Capital's crystalline tower with a hotel topped by condos hit the market over a year ago with scant details. The cost of the Baccarat Hotel and Residence's topmost apartment was clear—$60 million—and there were a few specs—a 5BR/5.5BA duplex with 7,381 square feet of interior space and a 417-square foot balcony—but no images or floorplans. What's brand-new are the design details and one exterior shot of the penthouse, pictured above. Here now, the first looks at that same penthouse, which has four exposures and is designed by Tony Ingrao. Elements include "a natural palette of exotic woods, white onyx, frosted mirror glass and polished chrome finishes," a custom-designed staircase, and, of course, a smattering of Baccarat crystal throughout. Below are renderings Curbed has not previously published, including one of the penthouse's double-height living room, plus the two-tiered floorplan. The rest of the image below show the kitchen and bathrooms of the 60 residences, all of which have floor-to-ceiling windows. The building topped out in August and is set to be complete late this year.
