Douglas Durst of the Durst Organization is trying to start a trash talking war by bragging that the L.E.D. light displays atop his One Bryant Park and 4 Times Square are better than the one on the Empire State Building. "We put them on ... way before Tony [Malkin, CEO of the company that owns the building,] even thought of L.E.D. lights," he says. "Whatever Tony can do we can do better." Malkin is somewhat into it, but not that much: "I feel very comfortable and confident that they are the most extraordinary lights in the most extraordinary city in the world."
