Annabelle Selldorf is designing the interiors of the 17 condos at boutique development Reade Chambers, developed by CBSK Ironstate, a partnership between SK Development and Ironstate Development. So, naturally, the starchitect also put her stamp on project's sales office, located across the street from the construction site at 71 Reade Street. A minimalist, classic model kitchen and two bathrooms are on display, giving a taste of the through-block project, which will have a doorman, gym, playroom, bike storage, cold storage, a pet-grooming facility, a landscaped roof deck, and an interior viewing courtyard.
Apartments also come with storage in the basement for each unit, which ranges from 60 to over 100 square feet, and 10 parking spaces are available for $300,000 apiece. The units, which began to list at the very end of January, are just over 50 percent sold. All the apartments have 10- to 11-foot ceiling heights, while two second-floor units and the three penthouses have private outdoor space. (All the Reade Street-facing apartments have Juliet balconies.) StreetEasy shows six units currently on the market, ranging from $1,695,000 for a one-bedroom to $5,550,000 for a 4BR.
