New, 5 comments

Nilay Shroff, a tenant in 409 East 74th Street is suing his landlord in Manhattan Supreme Court because the landlord threw out everything in his apartment. The landlord had intended to clear out a neighboring apartment, but accidentally sent a cleaning contractor into Shroff's pad, where they took his "clothes, kitchen items, bed, dresser, sofa and other furniture, bathroom items, video games, personal identity information ... credit cards ... memorabilia, photographs and souvenirs" to the dump. They left his television and PS3. [NYDN]
