Rory Tahari, ex-wife of Israeli fashion designer Elie Tahari, is thinking about making the hop, skip, and jump across the park from her West 85th Street home. Tahari, who put her 3,200-square-foot triplex on the market for $6.9 million, was spotted checking out another triplex on the east side at 985 Park Avenue, the Post reports. The $8.995 million digs are spread out over 3,000-square-feet and has three dedicated bedrooms with a convertible fourth, and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The home comes with lots of floor-to-ceiling French doors and windows that invite light in and provide, from certain vantages, "architecturally interesting western views onto Park Avenue." The pièce-de-résistance of this very beige triplex is clearly the all-season, astroturf-coated meditation garden, which is a mix of real and artificial plants with nine-zone lighting that "provides many options to set the mood."
