The 143-year-old brownstone at 815 Fifth Avenue is finally on its way out and, according to the Times, no one is going to miss it. The historic townhouse that "lacks architectural style" and was constructed just five years after the Civil War will give way to a 14-story, Indiana-limestone sheathed building that will "blend in more seamlessly" with its neighbors.
