Maybe regaining access to the shuttered Atlantic Avenue tunnel—one of the oldest subway passages in the city, which had been accessible by tour until those operations were shut down in 2010—isn't such a pipe dream after all. Well, at least there's some optimism involved. DNAinfo reports that former tunnel tour leader and general obsessive Bob Diamond has penned a 355-page report on why the historic tunnel should be reopened, and launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $5,000 that would go towards printing and disseminating the study.
