Design Exhibition in Industry City; Spike Lee Moving Out?

New, 5 comments

UPPER EAST SIDE—Is filmmaker/gentrification decrier Spike Lee moving out of his $32 million Upper East Side mansion? Could be. A tipster sent us the above picture along with a note: "I don't know if someone was moving stuff in or out. But the front door of the house and the back of the van were wide open, and the hallway was filled w/ all the accoutrements of moving day." Lee put the house on the market in November. He purchased it from artist Jasper Johns in 1998 for $16.6 million. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
